Tack ("we", "the App") is a personal budgeting tool that helps you track your income, expenses, and savings goals. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Financial data you enter. Transactions, budgets, savings goals, and recurring items. This data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and is never transmitted to our servers — we don't operate any.
Analytics. None. The App does not include any analytics SDK, crash reporter, or third-party tracking. We don't know who installs it, who uses it, or what features get used.
Purchase data. One-time Premium purchases and restores are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not receive or store your payment details — only an entitlement flag stored on your device.
We use data solely to operate the App's features on your device. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties.
All financial data is stored locally on your device. You can export your data at any time from Settings → Export Data. Clearing all data from Settings permanently removes it from your device.
The App fetches exchange rates from public APIs (primarily exchangerate.host) to support multi-currency views. These requests send only the date and currency pair — never any personal or financial data — and are cached locally to minimise outbound traffic.
Tack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Since your financial data is stored only on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete all data at any time via Settings → Clear All Data. For questions or requests, contact us at the address below.
